My career started in software engineering for one of the ‘Big Four’, from where I became a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. For over 20 years I have enjoyed a wide variety delivery leadership roles, typically on large scale mission critical change programmes across sectors including finance, manufacturing and telecoms.
The real pleasure of my work comes from applying structure and clarity to solve business problems. I thoroughly enjoy the process of bringing together teams, typically from multiple organisations across globally distributed locations, that can collaborate effectively to knock over the inevitable delivery challenges.
Outside of work my wife, daughter and I are frequently found afloat: dinghy racing or sailing off the west coast. And when the weather’s bad, I’m planning our first Atlantic circuit.
